The aim of Science Week (November 8th – 15th) is to promote the relevance of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) in our everyday lives and to demonstrate their importance to the future development of Irish society and to the economy.

ESA/GTTP Teacher Training Workshop 2015

The sixth ESA/GTTP Teacher Training Workshop will be held at the European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) in Noordwijk, the Netherlands, 23rd – 27th November 2015. The deadline for receipt of applications is 21st September 2015.

IUCr Crystal growing competition

Following the great success of the IYCr2014 a worldwide competition, is now open to all school children, to introduce students to the exciting, challenging and sometimes frustrating world of growing crystals. Entrants must submit a video. Details on line. Closing date: 22nd November 2015.
